NaNo was actually what lead me to FAWM in the first place and the win definitely gave me confidence to attempt FAWM! I’m 30K into my second novel and loving it

I tried NaNo last year and got to 10,000 ish words… but I got stuck, and the novel was shelved. I do better at music. In fact I’ve already come up with the titles for my FAWM 2008 tracks… more details in the above URL.

In a touching “circle of life” moment, one of my fellow reviewers over at residentmediapundit who has always meant to write a novel is doing NaNoWriMo because of the joy and discipline I got from FAWM.

So NaNoWriMo inspired Burr to create FAWM which inspired someone to NaNo…

Jen and I are both doing it this year. Jen has done Nano the last two years making this her third time. This will be my first time, so we’ll see how it goes.

I’m doing it for the third time this year (did 80,000 words in 2005 and 90,000 words in 2006.) Am I crazy? Yes.
